Bomberger's Declaration (2023 Release)
This is the 2023 limited edition release from an annual series which honors the legacy of Bomberger's—a 19th century Kentucky distillery which became the Michter's brand in the 20th century. This edition is made with a percentage of malted rye in the mash bill.
Under the direction of Michter's Master of Maturation, Andrea Wilson, it is partially matured in Chinquapin (Quercus muehlenbergii) oak that is air dried and seasoned for 3 years before it is roasted and charred. It is bottled at 108 proof.
