Really like how much wood this pour gives off in nose and finish - it drinks hot and spicy with the spearmint and cinnamon at first but cools off and gives way to the vanilla, caramel, and more big woody notes on the back end. Long finish that is comprised of more woody notes than just Oak which is interesting and appreciated.

I’ve tried this one a few times out of a glencairn and felt lost every time as to what others were getting in every aspect. Every time I mostly got charred oak and spice with not much more. Tried it tonight in a rocks glass and it made all the difference, I can now see where the hype is coming from.
This one has the traditional bourbon aromas of dark fruits, baking spices, corn, caramel, vanilla, and oak. This is a very warming bourbon with the same traditional notes and a touch of underlying freshness.
