Mediocre. Disparate sherry and peated flavors, not cohesive at all, like a hasty blend. Better than bowmore 18 though as it doesn’t have a metallic taste. Poorly put together.

The nose is awesome - equal parts sweet and peat. Each time you take a sip you get a different sweetness - chocolate, raisin, sherry, honey - with the perfect amount of smoke to balance it out.

Fruity notes, smokey bitterness with spice. Has a caramel sweetness. Not super complex.

Sweet smoke, like marshmallows roasted by campfire.
