Tasting Notes
"The characteristic Bowmore smokiness is present, but takes a back seat to other flavors and aromas in this expression. Along with a faint whiff of smoke, the nose has aromas of dried fruits, chocolate, ginger, and sandalwood. The palate is surprisingly bright, with tangy notes of dried dates, apricots, and orange zest, along with milk chocolate, toffee, ginger, clove, cardamom, salted pretzels, pipe tobacco, and a faint leatheriness. A puff of smoke ushers these well structured flavors and aromas into a medium-long finish that coats the tongue with spices. "
