Bozal Mezcal Cuixe Single Maguey is made from wild cuixe agave, a subspecies of the Karwinskii Family of agave, harvested in the village of San Baltazar, Oaxaca. The distillery uses centuries old methods of distillation: cooking the hearts in earthen pit ovens, crushing them using a tehona wheel, using wild yeast for fermentation, and distilling in copper pot stills. Part of the 3 Badge Mixology portfolio, it is bottled at 47% ABV.
