Bozal Mezcal Espadín-Barril-Mexicano

Sweeter than expected but very tasty

Sweet nose with vegetative and medium spicy finish. Smooth mezcal but with enough complexity to drink straight

This may be the highest score I ever give to a mezcal. It’s smoky but not too smoky (which is the biggest thing I struggle with about mezcals). Definitely my favorite mezcal thus far. Was able to sip this without completely having to push through the smoke flavor
