Nose: sweet buttercream. Slight alcohol heat. Cinnamon baking spice.
Mouthfeel: thin. Spice tingles across the tongue.
Taste: nothing really jumps out. Finish is very fast, leaving the feeling of having eaten red hots candy in your mouth.
It’s a middle of the road whiskey. Not bad but doesn’t really reveal its character. There’s potential there though.
Nose: oak, buttered popcorn
Palate: popcorn front and center, a bit sweet (probably again due to the corn), and a spicy finish
This is a pretty decent bourbon. Sweet and spicy with a smooth finish. I'm not over the moon with it but I'd give it a solid B- which is certainly nightly sipping territory.
Spicy vanilla nose, agression first impression bites mid palette and sides with hot to smooth mouth feel. You can really feel the alcohol but as the burn subsides you have nice warm drift away as though vanilla paired with strong cinnamon.
Medium linger, pleasant and drinkable after first attack. I did drink it neat and unchilled, which may have intensified the attack of the alcohol.
