Brenne French Single Malt Whisky

This is an abomination. Nose is orange soda and dirty socks. Taste starts as vanilla finish is chemical sweetener. This is what nightmares are made of

Blueberry pancakes on the nose, astringent and spicy finish, very different

Retaste Nose: southern comfort. Took me awhile to place it but that’s it exactly. Palate: Overly sweet. Lack of complexity. Finish: short to medium Dropping my score from previous review

Nose: Dried tropical fruit, cough medicine, floral, cow dung, pear drops and strawberry bonbons Palate: Cherry sweets, red liquorice, vanilla, brandy, white wine, black pepper, cinnamon, unripe banana Finish: Medium finish. Pineapple, coconut, chocolate, Cognac/Armagnac, black pepper This does not taste like a whisky at all. Fruity and spicy, with more brandy flacvour than whisky. The cow dung hints on the nose are pretty awful, but not to distraction.

Bubble gum and skittles... odd to say the least

Sweet. Over ripe banana. Candy. Brown sugar. Little bit of oak. Good length of finish. Smooth. Excellent after dinner

Bubble gum, banana, cream soda, and flowers that smell like bananas. As a single malt whisky, Brenne is unique.

Very light in appearance aswell as aroma and taste. Subtle vanilla nose. Sweetness on the taste, apricot, candy and then a perfumed floral note. Very different from most whisky. Nice to try. Not bad, bit unusual 🤔 Whisky me pouch.
