Bruichladdich Black Art 11.1 Edition 24 Year (2023 Release)
Single Malt
Bruichladdich // Islay, Scotland
Released on November 1, 2023, the 11th edition of Black Art continues the tradition of the brand not revealing the specific details about the whisky's components, particularly the types of barrels used for maturation. Head Distiller Adam Hannett has creative control of the Black Art. A few things that we do know are that the single malt whisky is unpeated and it was aged on Islay for a minimum of 24 years. All of the whisky used in this creation were barrels "pre-Renaissance," i.
e. before 2001 which is the year Bruichladdich resumed production after its closure in 1995. It's bottled without added color or chill-filtration at 44.2% ABV.
