Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2010
Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2010 is the fifth release in an ongoing Islay barley exploration series. It is made from unpeated Islay barley harvested in a single year (2009) from eight family farms.
Optic and oxbridge barley varieties were used. Distilled in 2010, this single malt matured mostly in first-fill bourbon casks with some former Rivesaltes, Jurançon, and Banyuls (French dessert wines) casks used.
