Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2014 is made using 100% barley grown on the Isle of Islay. It was distilled in 2014 from Concerto and Propino barley varieties harvested in 2013 from eight Islay farms, all within an 11-mile radius of the distillery. The unpeated single malt matured in first-fill American whiskey barrels (80%), sherry butts (5%), and second-fill wine casks (15%).
Aged for 8 years, it was bottled without chill-filtration or added color at 50% ABV. Available in the US beginning February 2024. (SRP $83).
