Color: strong light brown, not too dark.
Nose:traditional bourbon and corn sweetness, Carmel and some leathery spice
First sip: fantastic complexity as it rolls over the tongue, not very sweet, hints of vanilla but some really strong pepper and leather. Consistent with the nose
Taste: smooth and buttery with just enough spice and slight burn to let you know that 90+ proof is there. No real floral or significant sweet tones to it
Finish: so very easy on the way down, minimal to no burn and the pallet stays consistent after the swallow.
Conclusion: a really consistent bourbon from nose to finish, something that could be a great Friday drinker or something special to a friend that's a bulleit fan. Really enjoyed it.
