Smooth, syrupy, slightly spicy. Great gateway bourbon, versatile for sipping or mixing.

Smooth bourbon with good after taste

Hot spicy nose dominated heavily by cinnamon such that other notes are difficult to pick out. That said, I do get some anise, oak, chocolate, rye and a tiny hint of vanilla. On the palate sweeter with more caramel and vanilla to balance heavy cinnamon, but there’s no depth. Everything ends pretty abruptly, but the finish is all lingering spice. Overall thin and one dimensional.

Not really that great. Don’t understand the hype, it tastes just really strong liquor and burns.
