Nose: oak, herbal, smoke, cinnamon, black cherry, toasted caramel, apple, vanilla, and throw in some lemon juice once water is added. Palate: rich, sweet, and hot; cherry, vanilla, apple, fudge, smoke, char. Fruity, smoky, rich sweet finish.

Nose: apricot, oak, cinnamon, red wine, lemon, orange zest, vanilla, custard. Palate: spicy, oak, dry red wine, bitter citrus peel, slight vanilla sweetness. Peppery finish. Water brings out a touch of richness, but doesn’t appreciably alter anything beyond that.

Nose sea air, barley, lime, anise, lemon peel, ash, leather. Palate anise, lemon peel, fig, leather.

Honey, oak, pear, cherry, toasted caramel, toasted butter, toasted marshmallow.

Nose of corn, a splash of peat, lemon peel, cardboard. The flavor isn’t terrible, but it’s weak and nondescript; just some sweetness, vanilla maybe, water, and hints of pepper and peat.
