"This rum shows a lot of fruity notes, pears in particular, as well as some barrel spices and woody aromas. These notes continue on the palate with little change from the aroma to the taste. The finish is only slightly bitter. As the proof is just a little over standard proof, feel free to sub this in cocktails calling for gold rum or even in a simple rum and ginger."
