Wonderful nose of deep red fruit, honey and a hint of smoke. Palate does not disappoint- complex and evolving fruits, brine and mild peat. Long finish. No sulfur. The higher ABV of 46.3% punches up the flavor and complexity over its peers, such as Highland Park 18 (43%).

N: caramel, honey, salt (take 2: old oloroso Sherry, )
T: caramel chews, toffee, salted, honey, slight Sherry spice (take 2: wood, )
F: long, woody, old
Delivery tastes like a more complex Dalwhinnie 15. Wood and Sherry come through on the back end. (Take 2: nose is sherry. palate is honey (bourbon cask) and brine. finish is oak.)
