Bunnahabhain 33 Year
Single Malt
Bunnahabhain // Islay, Scotland
Bunnahabhain Single Malt 33 Year is distilled from lightly peated barley and fresh spring water from the distillery's nearby water source, the Margadale river. The mashed barley is fermented in pine washbacks before being twice-distilled through copper pot stills.
This whisky was distilled in 1980 and aged for 33 years in American oak barrels before being independently bottled by James MacArthur in 2013. It has not been chill-filtered and there is no color added.
