Buzzard's Roost Cigar Rye Straight Rye (2022 Release)
Released in April 2022 from independent blender and bottler Buzzard's Roost, this rye was sourced from the MGP distillery in Indiana. The rye selected was a four-year old rye made with a mash bill of 95% rye 5% malted barley. The whiskey was then finished in proprietary barrels American oak barrels that were cold smoked with tobacco leaves from Kentucky.
It's bottled at 105 proof. Just three barrels were produced for the first release back in 2019, but this 2022 limited edition release was produced in larger quantities. .
