Cabo Wabo Añejo Tequila
Tequila Añejo
Tequila Valley, Jalisco, Mexico
Rock musician Sammy Hagar founded Cabo Wabo in 1996 as a way to create a "house tequila" for his cantina in Cabo San Lucas. It's produced by a family of distillers who use traditional methods to produce the agave sourced from the lowlands of Jalisco.
This añejo is aged 14 months in American oak. Note: Sammy sold his remaining shares to Gruppo Campari several years ago to Gruppo Campari who now own the brand in its entirety.

Tasting Notes
"For people who like sweet versions of añejo, this is for you! The fruit flavors are a lot more tropical than the blanco and reposado expressions, with some added orange blossom. There's a veritable candy store of vanilla, honey, cocoa and sweet Christmas spice here."
