Calirosa is produced by the Real family in Amatitán, Jalisco, Mexico. Like the other tequilas in their portfolio, their reposado expression is produced from 100% Blue Weber agave that is harvested at 7 to 9 years with a 26% sugar content. It is then cooked slowly in brick ovens, fermented for up to 50 hours, twice distilled, and then aged in California red wine barrels for 9 months.

Tequila ReposadoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged from 2 months up to a year in barrels no larger than 20,000 L. Any type of wood is acceptable, although ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Reposado translates to "rested".
