Callisto Botanical Rum begins as two charcoal-filtered aged rums from Trinidad and Nicaragua. The rums are blended in Petaluma, California, and then infused with local botanicals that include rosemary, lavender, burdock root and cherry bark.
There is no added sugar in the process post-distillation. The rum is bottled at 40% ABV.

Tasting Notes
"Unless otherwise told, it would be difficult to distinguish this spirit from a full-bodied, flower and citrus-forward gin. The nose is quite floral, with dominant aromas of lavender, mint, lemon and wintergreen. The palate is even more floral, just shy of all out soapiness, with spearmint, citrus and earthy woodsiness. The only indication it could be a rum is from a nearly imperceptible roasted coffee note with some even more subtle dark chocolate. "
