Reviewed October 31, 2021Tasting neat in a Glencairn: Nose offers ripe pear and soft brine, with hints of vanilla and toffee. Palate presents smoke and more salty sea air, with super subtle lemon curd and vanilla custard. Finishes is medium-short and well-rounded, full of tangy brine and smoke. -

Reviewed October 23, 2021Ein sehr weicher, milder und rauchiger Malt. Was ich am Caol Ila besonders mag ist die Stärke des Rauches , ordentlich und im Vordergrund, aber nicht alles überlagernd wie bei einigen seiner Inselkollegen. Ich persönlich trinke ihn sehr gerne.
