The Distillers Edition is an annual limited edition series from Diageo featuring select single malt Scotch whisky distilleries in their portfolio. Each release is double matured (finished) in a selected cask.
For Caol Ila, casks which held Moscatel sherry --a sweet, fortified dessert wine -- are used. Distilled in 2006, this release was bottled in 2017 at 86 proof.
