Reviewed December 19, 2022Interesting nose. Phenolic, waxy, white pepper, sweet almond, stone fruit, tart cherries, floral, vanilla. Palate is similar, but also has an acidic feeling. Hints of mandarin, and vanilla. The finish is disitinctly grapey. Arrival is phenolic and sweet orange peel, moving into pepper, more phenols, apricot, then mandarin overlayed with vanilla. Finish is slightly bitter, and moderately long lasting. Nice silky mouthfeel. A bit hot for 40%, but plesantly so. Pleasant lingering tingle from the alcohol. Quite nice, and an interesting diversion from my usual forays into bourbon, Scotch, and rum.17.0 USD per Bottle -
