Captain Morgan Private Stock Rum

Cloying sweetness, overwhelming vanillin (artificial vanilla flavoring), brown sugar, fleeting green fig and warm oak, subtle hints of allspice, cinnamon, and cardamon. As a rum and cola cocktail it tastes similar to Coca-Cola Vanilla. In a Cuban Old Fashioned (with Peychaud's Bitters) syrupy sweetness and fake vanilla overwhelm the aroma and palate.
