Nosing smells like Chivas 12 or Jameson, nail varnish. Yet, don't be fooled by it. Once it is in your mouth, tasted some apple / cherry notes. After taste was sweet and mild. Overall, very good character. Good for beginners.
Nose: clear, light, sea smells (weeds, moulty) and, surprisingly some whiffs of marsipan.
Taste: starting with laurel & liquorice, gradually becoming sweater.
Finish: soft, warm, medium length. Hint of laurel.
I like the nose is floral, kind of remind of some red wine and maybe lemon in the back. Maybe a hint of honey. Taste is alright a little boring smooth, light, definitely from the speyside with some black pepper note. I suggest to let it sit for a while. The first sip is almost tasteless but it open up with time and become more enjoyable. It a decent whisky, but nothing to get excited. I would buy only if I got a great deal. Maybe recommend for a newbie.
