Like the more popular Carpano Antica Formula, it too gets its amber red color from burnt sugar as the grapes used here are white.
Carpano Classico Rosso is a sweet vermouth that was first released in 1900s. Like the more popular Carpano Antica Formula, it too gets its amber red color from burnt sugar as the grapes used here are white. The Classico Rosso is less intense than Antica and is bottled at 16% ABV.
