Casa Maestri was founded by a couple who were both raised in an environment where they were exposed to wine and spirits. Together, the Maestri couple has 72 years of tequila production experience, and is known for helping to create over 100 popular agave and other spirits. Casa Maestri Añejo Tequila is produced in Jalisco, Mexico and bottled at 40% ABV.
Tequila AñejoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged for at least a year in barrels not to exceed 600 liters. Any type of wood is acceptable, but ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Añejo tequilas are also known as "aged" or "extra aged".
