Catoctin Creek continues their collaboration with GWAR with the limited edition 2023 release which marks ten years since the passing of the band's front man Oderus Urungus. The 100% rye whiskey continues to be aged with white oak, sugar maple, and cherrywood but for this release there is a rum-finished barrel added as well.
There's up to 200 cases available nationwide beginning August 1, 2023. (SRP $99).

RyeRye produced in the US must be made of at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels (no age requirement). Elsewhere, it will be made according to the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.
