Catoctin Creek Watershed Gin

Tasting at VA ABC store 212. This is a bit of a mess. Juniper forward with a couple supporting botanicals, but the time in the rye barrel muddies everything with an unpleasant hay and spice. No. 6/21/19

This is absolutely disgusting, It tastes like literal medicine. I'm a fan of more simple gins (i.e hendricks). This gin is considered to be "modern" and "unique" but its one of the nastiest things I've ever put in my mouth. I'd rather spend the same price for a 1.75L bottle of Citadelle! that I'll at least be able to easily drink in my cocktails. Catoctin is TOXIC and absolutely vile. An absolute sham for the price. Will never buy again
