RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"Hard to mistake this for anything else, this is definitely rye. The aroma makes sure you know straight away: Toasted rye grain, big spices, even an aroma of thick-cut rye toast. While the palate starts strong with bold spices and dark roasted grain, the thin texture and weak mid-palate show the true bones of this whiskey. The finish adds a little more dimension with heavy char notes."
