Catskill Distilling Company's One and Only Buckwheat Whiskey is distilled from a unique mash bill of 80% buckwheat, with the remainder a mix of corn and malted barley. It is aged for about two years in charred and toasted oak barrels and bottled at 42.5% abv.

Tasting Notes

"Tasted blind, this would be a difficult whiskey to identify, which is fitting given its unusual mash bill. It pours a rich caramel with aromas of dark chocolate and cherries. That fruitiness continues to the palate, where it lands surprisingly softly with vanilla, oak, fresh cut wood, and a whiff of smoke. It's sweet and approachable, while still being unique."
