Chapmans Apple Brandy
American Brandy
Chapmans // Washington D.C., USA
Chapmans Apple Brandy is made in D.C. by the team at Republic Restoratives.
The apples were sourced from Pennsylvania and the apple juice was rested and fermented distilled on its lees (a technique which provides a fuller, deeper profile as a result). The brandy was then aged in a mix of French and American oak for six months. Bottled at 92 proof.

American BrandyProduced in the US, this is usually referring to brandy distilled from grape-based wine. If the producer uses other fruit, it must be stated on the label. If aged under two years in oak, it must state the word "immature" on the label. Beyond that, labels such as VS, VSOP, and XO mean little as the brands themselves dictate what that means to them.
