Chattanooga Whiskey 91

Sweet mild entry. Some spice in the middle and a tiny bit of smoke. Not terribly complex but drinkable.

Smell is sweet with of hint of molasses. Very smooth and mild. I really like it.

Strong corn nose, with a lingering peppery palate - that also has some sweet notes. The honey in mash comes through. The finish is very spicy. A unique bourbon, not an every day

The nose is grain forward with notes of corn and wood smoke playing prominently with a strong scent of alcohol as well. On the tongue the whiskey is sweet and spicy. There is a brown sugar sweetness that pairs well with the hint of pepper and cinnamon spice. The finish features and alcoholic burn that transitions into a slight woody bitterness. There is a wisp of brine and wood smoke at the very end. A very good whiskey. It would not be an everyday whiskey for me, but it would hold a special place in my cabinet. It is a whiskey to be shared when someone wants a unique and interesting experience.
