An 84 “expert rating” really? This is an A level whisky. The honey marmalade baked apples and sherry appear on the nose. Some fruits are there but it’s so tasty in sweet dessert aromas that you almost want to take a bite! A bit of dry woodiness appears on the finish with some oiliness. Overall fantastic especially for the money. 96/100.
