It has a good fruity taste. It feels dry, so I recommend it with a cube of ice. It feels like a Chivas Regal, the same characteristic taste and it's worth the price.
👃 It’s strange but I have first the metallic notes you can easily find in Irish Whiskey. Apple pie, a little bit of caramel.
👅 It’s a half smooth half dry palate. A bit briny, spicy (ginger).
🏁Medium finish. It begins smooth and but then a butterscotch aftertaste arrives.
🤔 Pretty nice dram. I prefered the nose to the palate, but the finish is nice. It’s not the richer blend I had, but it’s good and worth the price.
Nose: oak, vanilla
Palate: vanilla, caramel, raisins and dried fruits
Finish: tastes “old”, short-medium finish, round, cool
Overall a decent drop but not worth the extra money compared to the 12 yo. Can taste the cognac in the finish and appears a bit on the nose.
Apples and melons on the nose with cinnamon spice. The palate is sweet and the finish is smooth.
A pretty good blend. I wish it was a bit higher proof for more mouthfeel.
