Clyde May's Straight Bourbon

Honey and white fruit on the nose, tiny bit of clove and ginger Light mouthfeel with more honey, apples, Some ginger/rye spice Finish with a bit of leather and oak, some black licorice, medium long, little pleasant burn

Thin, really thin. After reading the label I expected more body. The nose has the usual vanilla & sugar notes with a little wood and corn on the taste. The alcohol burn is very mild and is over quickly.

Sweeter than my typical preference, but fairly smooth with a sharp alcohol bite on the finish
