The lead whiskymaker for Compass Box No Name No. 2 is Jill Boyd. The second edition for No Name uses a slightly different recipe than the first edition, but still uses peated single malt whiskies: 75.5% is Caol Ila matured in refill sherry butts, 10.5% is Talisker matured in recharred American oak hogsheads, and 13.5% is Clynelish also matured in American oak hogsheads.

The remaining .5% is a proprietary Highland malt blend which matured in custom French oak cask with a heavy toast. Bottled at 48.9% without chill-filtration or added color. Available in the UK and other select international markets as of May 2019 with the US to follow in September 2019. .
