Connemara Original Peated Single Malt

smell: fruit, honey, 'fermented' notes, faint smoke Taste: really sweet, but considerable smoke and peat, buttery, honey, a bit like sherry?

A beautifully balanced whisky with sweet, peaty notes. The finish is long and lingering. Excellent on the rocks, and pairs wonderfully with dark chocolate.

Nose close to douglas fir. Better undiluted.

Smokey and briny only in afternote. Main has oaky or hazelnutty feel. Quite smooth
