Connemara Original Peated Single Malt

Nose: peat, charred oak, honey, mild floral elements. Palate: peat, a mild burn, very slight fruit, complexity is a little lower due to proof. Some malt sweetness. Very slight honey. A little bit of salinity? Finish: mild phenols, a little astringent. Not incredibly long but does linger.

Beautiful aroma- campfire, lime, green apple, & pear. Honey sweetness on the tongue with a slight smoke from beginning to end. Mouthfeel is very smooth and oily. Slight light tingle on the tongue after the finish. My new favorite Irish whiskey.
