Released in fall 2020, Coppersea's Excelsior Straight Rye made from all Hudson Valley grains (80% raw rye and 20% malted barley). It was twice-distilled in direct-fired alembic stills and the rye was aged at least two years in charred new oak barrels.
Bottled at 48% ABV, this whiskey qualifies as an Empire Rye. .
