Nose - peach, honey, sugared almonds, some light citrus
Taste - dry spice up front, metallic, a bit if the fruit and honey comes through, but it’s mostly a metallic spice
Finish - really dry and a bit bitter at the end, the spice builds a bit
Pretty traditional Young single malt profile. Gentle. Almost too gentle.
Smooth, drinkable pour with a touch of peat. Rose water shows up in the middle and finish, and there are hints of caramel, honey, and black tea.
I feel like I want more from this, but I have no complaints about this whatsoever.
Nose: Banan, honey, oatmeal, light citrus
Taste: Nice sweetness without being overly sweet. Fruity like orange, pear maybe, also oatmealy sweetness. And something i can not quite wrap my head around in the finish, maybe coffe, quite dark note.
