Reviewed September 28, 2019 (edited February 17, 2020)Color is a dark Amber. Nose is mild toffee, subtle vanilla, and some ethanol. First sip is mildly oily, smooth. Notes of vanilla, toffee, and general mild sweetness meet you initially. The finish transitions to dry baking spices that linger. Overall, no major complaints. Solid whisky, if not particularly unique. Best value of the Crown Royal lineup.
