Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye

It is an interesting whiskey, the nose definitely stands out but it did not hold up on the palate. It kind of fell flat for me there, some of those spicey notes came through that were held up by some of the sweeter candy notes and the finish had some serious hot spice which I did like.

Good for the price. On the sweeter side of ryes, but not in a bad way; very unique. I get apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon on the nose. Grapes (?), apple, up front with a long spicy, peppery finish.
