Decent whiskey. Not quite enough interest in the nose or the palate to have me coming back, but it was worth visiting. This is one of the rare times where I think the Distiller tasting notes are spot on. Unfortunately, this whiskey suffers from a bit from being too uniform, and too easy to understand. It's tasty, but there is no depth to the nose or the palate. To he honest, I can't really recommend this whiskey. It is ok, and you won't go wrong in getting in, but you could get much better for less. I can't even recommend it as a whiskey to keep for your non-whiskey drinking friends. I'd say something like Dickel no. 12 is better for that.
