Crystal Head Onyx is the third permanent addition to the brand's lineup. It's made using Blue Weber agave sourced from a single farm in Mexico.
Like the other marques in the portfolio, Onyx is filtered through layers of quartz crystals known as Herkimer diamonds and the water used in its production is glacial water from Newfoundland where the vodka is distilled. It is bottled in the brand's signature skull bottle design, but this time it's got a glossy black color.

Unflavored VodkaDistilled from any agricultural product, most commonly grains or potatoes. Typically distilled to 95% ABV. Water is added to bring the spirit down to as low as 37.5% ABV in the EU and 40% ABV in the US. It is usually filtered, often with charcoal, prior to bottling. It is almost always clear and unaged.

Tasting Notes
"Not much aroma comes through, but the palate is a different story. Green pepper and celery notes are set off by a candy-like tartness (like Sweetarts or even Tums) and subtle florals in the back of the palate. It's quite a hot and acetone-like finish, making it not so pleasant as a neat sipper. But then again, no one was expecting something you drink out of a black skull to be cuddly. "
