Tasting Notes
"The aromas on this single malt are delicate, but pleasant. You'll find a bit of lemon peel and honey along some scents of a digestive biscuit and light vanilla. The body is medium light and the intensity of the malt rises on the palate. It's tangy and bittersweet with a mild oak flavor at the finish. Gentle barrel spices are found throughout to offer some depth along with just a hint of fresh flowers. Pleasant to drink (even at cask strength) and straightforward, which is not a bad thing. A splash of water brings a bit more sweetness and creaminess to the body. "
