Dalmore 18 Year

Nose: candy caramel sugar drop. Taste: smoked salted caramel, milk chocolate, hint of baking spice, vanilla candy. Damnnnn. No harshness, pure pleasure. Next level stuff. Hours later as I laid in bed, I was still fantasizing about that flavor. 8/13/19

I am not certain the cost warrants the 4.25 stars versus a 60 dollar bottle earning 4 stars. However, it is massively unique. Both the start and finish are right on you and pretty damn glorious. Ok, maybe this is a 4.5 stars.

Incredibly unique flavor. Off the nose you can tell it’s going to be flavorful. Sip it first and it’s super smooth and a robust flavor. Add a drop of water and it expands immensely. A great occasional taste. Not a daily drinker by any means but totally unique.

Chocolate and nuts in mouth. Caramel and toffee too. Oily and round, with a slight bitter finish. Girlfriend loved it. There's a love and hate tension with Dalmore. It tastes nice and it is overpriced too. This could be so much better with 46% and no colour added. Certainly more interesting than the Dalmore 15

Lovely with notes of chocolate, coffee, orange, raisins, toffee, vanilla, and Christmas spices.

Amazing nose and taste. Only issue is the price, at $120-$140 it’s worth it.
