Oban 10 Year Coastal Orchard (2024 Special Release)
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed December 24, 2024 (edited January 10, 2025)Please don’t judge this malt without adding a substantial amount of water, with water it really opens up into a beautiful fresh fruit bomb. Light smoke enchances the fruit and adds a nice savory character. Only downside is the finish turns slightly bitter at the very end. Overall I’m happy with my purchase.119.0 USD per Bottle -
Booker's Bourbon Batch 2024-04 "Jimmy's Batch"
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 7, 2024 (edited December 10, 2024)Flavorful, hot and heavy. Deep brown sugar and caramel, not very nutty thank goodness! Very well balanced as far as bookers goes, finish is somewhat plain and short. This one feels like it needs to open up to get better, gets more interesting the longer it gets air time.109.99 USD per Bottle -
