Daviess County Kentucky Straight Bourbon French Oak Finish

Lighter in color than expected, but not too young. Good complexity and spice for the perceived age and 96 proof. Having a hard time describing the flavors but it’s good enough for me to revisit and try again! Good buy, I recommend it. I’ll update once I can characterize it better!

This bourbon is weak but pleasing on the nose.. Well balanced on the palate. Finish disappears quickly but not as fast as most.

Heavy spice, fruity tartness, and sweet. Is this a bottled pear cobbler? No, the sour mash comes through to remind you what you’ve got in the glass. The sweet/tart holds the linger.
